Ghost:/The Rich And Lazy People

From Addicting Info. Robert Reich:

The Wealthy Are The Real Lazy People In Our Society

We hear it from Republicans every day. They constantly tell us that poor people are poor because they are lazy and rich people are wealthy because they work. But as Robert Reich explained in a new op-ed, the rich are the real lazy people in our society.

As the poor continue to toil and work themselves to the bone for little pay, the wealthy are busy creating an aristocracy that will bury our democracy. And Republicans are not only propping them up, they are working to make them even richer in an effort to destroy our democracy from within.

According to Reich, a former US Secretary of Labor, a huge number of the rich don’t work at all while most of the poor are working more than 40 hours a week and are still struggling.

Robert Reich is talking about the USA, but his words are valid in Sweden, too. Poor people don´t spend days playing golf, poor people are not going hunting for days whenever they want with a number of  colleagues, poor people don´t use their private airplanes for long vacations in far away places…

PS. I, Ghost, must admit that I´m quite lazy. Not because I´m wealthy, but as a senior citizen it´s my privilege to slow down…

I wish you all a Happy Easter.
